Esko Aho started as Sitra's new president

Esko Aho started his work on July 1, 2004 as new president of Sitra, when Aatto Prihti, the former president retired. The Supervisory Board appointed Aho for the period 1.7.2004 - 31.12.2009.

Esko Aho, M.Sc. (Pol. Sc.), born in 1954, has had a distinguished political career in Finland. He held the post of Prime Minister from 1991 to 1995. Previously, Mr. Aho was the Chairman of the Board of Verbatum Oy, his own company focusing on corporate consulting.
