Improving customer orientation in energy counselling – Sitra’s working group proposes a coordinating actor

The sustainable development design competition in Jätkäsaari gathered 73 international teams Phase one of the Low2No competition, Request for Qualifications, has been completed, and the teams have been selected. Finland has lots to learn from international pioneers in energy efficiency
On 24 April 2009, Sitra published two reports examining the future of energy efficiency. The international comparison report Energy Efficiency Internationally gives examples to illustrate the speed of development in the world and states that Finland should promote energy efficiency by creating market mechanisms and by introducing innovative solutions in order to keep up with the development. New energy-efficient suburb to be built in Porvoo
A new suburb of more than a thousand energy-efficient homes is to be built in Skaftkärr, Porvoo. There will be more than four thousand inhabitants.
