Megatrends – what does the future hold?

What are the megatrends that affect our future? What are the perspectives now, in the near future and in 2052?

What are the megatrends that affect our future? How will our lives change as a result of the need for ecological sustainability, intensifying globalisation and technological development? What are the perspectives now, in the near future and in 2052?

Our society is struggling to adapt to an ongoing historical transition. Potential developments represent a multitude of opportunities and threats. These threats will be realised if we fail to anticipate them – while we can only benefit from our opportunities if we grasp them. How can we make the transition into a society of the future?
