Becoming education change agents breakfast session

How do we tackle the challenge of the sustainability mind shift?

Changes in the program due to unexpected timetable challenges: Sitra’s foresight specialist Elina Kiiski Kataja will replace Saku Tuominen.

What are the relationships between intuition and knowledge or climate change and emotions? What can we learn from looking at schools from a historical perspective, and how do schools usually change? How do we tackle the challenge of the sustainability mind shift?

Sitra’s Education for a Changing World research project has progressed since August and we would like to tell you more about it. We would also like to give you a chance to air your questions, opinions and hopes regarding Education for a Changing World.

At our networking breakfast, we will hear from Elina Kiiski Kataja on her recent foresight work in the fields of knowledge and education. What are the big trends challenging education and learning in the future? How can we embrace this change and overcome it’s challenges? Following Elina Kiiski Kataja, our Finnish writers will shed some light on the various topics of our research project. Then, we would like to hear from you.

This event aims to build on the discussions of our first breakfast event in August when we met for the first time to build a vision and strategy for this network. If you weren’t able to meet us then, not to worry: we would like to hear from as many new people as possible. You can find out more about the authors and the project here

You can sign up for the event here.
