An advisory panel consisting of globally recognised leading experts has been invited to contribute to Sitra’s impact assessment. As an independent advisory panel, its role is to both question and analyse Sitra’s strategic choices and policies. In addition, Sitra will turn to the panel for support and insight on its international activities.

The panel will meet twice this year and once in 2016. Sitra’s supervisory board will then decide whether to have the panel continue its work between 2017 and 2019. The panel met for the first time on 22 June 2015.

For the term 2015-2016, the members of the panel are:

Aart de Geus – Chairman and CEO, Bertelsmann Stiftung

Bruce Jones – Vice President and Director of the Foreign Policy Program, Brookings Institution

Mariana Mazzucato – Professor, University of Sussex

Geoff Mulgan – Chief Executive, Nesta

Anders Wijkman –  Vice President of Club of Rome, Board Member of the Tällberg Foundation and of the Stockholm Resilience Center

Jill Wong – Institute Director, Institute of Public Sector Leadership, Civil Service College, Singapore

Pekka Ala-Pietilä – Chairman
