Juha Kostiainen

Juha Kostiainen (b. 1965) has served as Director of Communications and Public Affairs since the beginning of 2012. He has worked for Sitra since the beginning of 2009, first as Director of the Energy Programme and then as Director of the Public Management and Leadership Programme, which was launched in 2010. He holds a Master of Science degree in technology and a doctorate in administrative science. Between 2001 and 2008, Juha held various positions in development, business planning and communications at YIT. Before that, he worked as Director of Business and Economic Development for the city of Tampere and as CEO of FinnMedi. Since 2005, Juha has served as adjunct professor at the University of Tampere, specialising in the strategic development of urban areas.
