As part of the development of its own online services, Sitra seeks to advance debate within the Finnish internet sector, as well as to share what it has learned in its own Web projects and provide concrete final results for the use of Finnish organisations and individuals.
In the spring of 2009, a ‘Finland on the Web’ visionary brainstorming session was held, where internet experts and others who wanted to participate considered Finland’s online future. The results of this session were published by the ‘Suomi verkossa’ (‘Finland on the Web’) Facebook group. They were also used as the basis for Sitra’s own internet strategy.
Findings from Sitra’s online projects have also been published on the Vierityspalkki.fi blog among other places.
