The project surveys the demand and supply situation in the local food sector and its new earning models as well as delivery and distribution chain.
Moreover, a new web-based local food concept will be modelled.
The aim of the project is to clarify markets, find the challenges and bring out solutions as well as to develop the business concept.
The project will produce the survey Lähiruoka, nyt – trendistä markkinoille (‘Local food, now – From trend to market’) which is intended as a tool for new and already established entrepreneurs in the field to increase their understanding of the industry, its dynamics and especially of what requirements, challenges and new business models and opportunities the field offers.
The project will be implemented by Deloitte.
