World Bioenergy Association is exploring possibilities for co-operation between the Nordic Countries and Ukraine. The Sweden Ukraine Bioenergy Cooperation Forum 2018 brings together policy makers, investors, private sector and researchers for discussions on enhancing co-operation in bioenergy between Ukraine and Sweden as well as other Nordic Countries.
The event is organised as part of the study mission for a high-level delegation from Ukraine led by Oleksandr Dombrovskyi, Member of Ukrainian Parliament. Oras Tynkkynen from Sitra will present the results for Ukraine from the Nordic Green to Scale 2 project.
The participants include e.g. Oleksandr Dombrovskyi, Member of Ukrainian Parliament and Acting Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Committee on Fuel and Energy Complex, Nuclear Policy and Nuclear Safety; Sergiy Savchuk, Head of State Agency on Energy Efficiency and Energy Saving of Ukraine; Georgiy Geletukha, Head of the Board of the Bioenergy Association of Ukraine, Volodymyr Maistryshyn, Managing partner of Enerstena Ukraine, a subsidiary of Enerstena Lithuania; Igor Tynnyi, Co-owner of renewable energy projects; Ivan Nadein, Founder of Ukrteplo; Svitlana Kolomiiets, Advisor to the Head of the Kyiv City Administration and co-owner of Rewaste LLC.
