Marleena Ahonen worked as a project coordinator in Sitra’s Circular Economy team. For Marleena, the circular economy is one of the world’s best and most inspiring strategies for a sustainable, meaningful tomorrow, towards which everyone can be inspired to build. Prior to Sitra, Marleena worked as a sustainability consultant in a start-up, interned in California as a cleantech trainee and was part of Business Finland’s foresight group, creating visions for Finland in 2040.
Marleena has an MSc in Technology from Aalto University with a focus on sustainable industrial processes, materials processing, energy technology and the gas economy.
