Riina Kopola works in the Public-sector leadership focus area at Sitra. Among other things, she is responsible for carrying out the training programme in the focus area and for developing the digital learning environment.
Riina has been involved in planning and implementing several training and co-development programmes aimed at Sitra’s stakeholders. These include the Synergise Finland forums, Impact Accelerator and the international Education for a Changing World research project.
Riina has experience in many projects that have brought Finnish decision-makers and change factors from different sectors of society together – to learn from each other, create new partnerships and build a new kind of co-operation in a productive way. She has been involved in developing the future of training and working life, as well as more effective well-being, health and social services.
Riina believes in the power of interaction, cross-societal activities and joint development. She has a master’s degree in social sciences.
Once she turns off her computer at work, Riina can often be found on her mountain bike in Helsinki’s Central Park or walking in Töölönlahti. Riina believes that people rather than technology will solve the tricky challenges of the future.
