Johanna Suikkanen

I am a Leading Specialist at Sitra’s International circular economy programme. My work focuses on the implementation of the EU Circular Economy Resource Centre, particularly its Policy Lab. I facilitate information sharing on circular economy policy best practices, needs and actions between the EU member states and EU CERC partner countries.

My previous work experience of over 15 years combines perspectives from the Nordic countries and the Global South. I have worked as a researcher on circular economy policies at the Finnish Environment Institute, prior to which as a programme officer on safer and cleaner production at UNEP, implementing projects with government agencies, service providers and private sector from Global South countries.
