Marja-Leena Rinkineva

Director of Economic Development, City of Helsinki Mayor’s Office

Marja-Leena Rinkineva has throughout her extensive career worked with economic development in the public sector.

Currently the Director of Economic Development in the City of Helsinki, she has also worked for the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Employment and the Ministry of Justice in Finland. She is a trained judge and, in addition, has strong knowledge and skills in Corporate Governance having worked for various boards of companies. Currently she is a chairman of the Helsinki Business Hub (Invest in Company), Forum Virium Helsinki and Helsinki City Marketing.
