Sitra does not use tax revenue from the national budget. Our work in Finland is primarily financed through returns on the fund’s investments.

Sitra has extensive experience in securing and managing EU and Nordic funding. Currently, we lead flagship initiatives such as the EU Circular Economy Resource Centre (EU CERC) and coordinate major European health data projects (Second Joint Action Towards the European Health Data Space TEHDAS2 and Value from Nordic Health Data).
