A significant share of Sitra’s funding is allocated through funding calls. Depending on the theme, the funding calls may be targeted at the public sector, companies, organisations, research institutions or educational institutions. Sitra’s funding calls always focus on finding a solution to a clearly defined societal problem.For each funding call, the language in which applications can be submitted is specified. Currently, our work is guided by four societal challenges, which are sustainable economic growth, data and artificial intelligence, democracy and polarisation, and the sustainability transition.
We support our partners in project implementation, co-creation, futures thinking and network building.
