Nabil Nasr

Associate Provost for Academic Affairs and Director, Golisano Institute for Sustainability, Rochester Institute of Technology

Nabil Z. Nasr is an international leader of research and development efforts in disciplines that advance circular economy.

With research interests focused on remanufacturing, circular economy, life cycle engineering, cleaner production and sustainable product development, he is Associate Provost for Academic Affairs and Director of Golisano Institute for Sustainability at Rochester Institute of Technology. He also founded RIT’s Center for Remanufacturing and Resource Recovery. Nasr recently led the proposal development effort which resulted in Golisano Institute leading the national consortium for the REMADE Institute, a national coalition that will work together on new clean energy initiatives, focusing on driving down the cost of technologies essential to reuse, recycle and remanufacture materials. He is also, a member of UNEP International Resource Panel (IRP).
