Mikko Rissanen works as a project manager for the German-based DIALOG BASIS researcher network, where he monitors the progress of Germany’s Energiewende, especially from the perspective of public participation. He has been involved in the organisation of several local wind power and energy forums in Germany. In the spring of 2013, Rissanen contributed articles on topical issues related to Germany’s energy reforms to Sitra’s Energiewende blog series.
