Ruija Rantala-Saajo

I work as General Counsel at Sitra. I am responsible for ensuring the smooth running of legal matters, act as Secretary to the Board, and support the leadership team in legal issues.

Within the Legal Affairs team, we contribute to the development of Sitra’s projects and ensure that the legal framework governing our operations is properly implemented. Collaboration and negotiations with project partners play a key role in driving impact and societal change.

What motivates me in the role of an in-house counsel is the opportunity to work broadly across different areas of law. The assignments vary, allowing me to apply and develop a diverse skill set.
