Who?
Satu works as an expert in several projects on the Fair Data Economy theme. Satu is responsible for Sitra’s generative AI experiments, which develop AI applications to improve legislative drafting at Finnish government ministries. Satu is also an expert in the EU-funded Data Spaces Support Centre (DSSC) joint project and Sitra’s High Performance and Quantum Computing workbench.
What?
Before joining Sitra, Satu worked for several years as a data scientist on AI projects in the financial sector. She holds a Master’s degree in Engineering from Aalto University. Her studies focused on systems and operations research and strategic decision making. Currently, Satu is also studying for a second Master’s degree in Data Regulation and Information Systems Science at Aalto University.

Satu enjoys running in the summer and is also into kickboxing.
