Closing the loop: ASEM’s transition towards achieving a circular economy

Critical stakeholders from businesses, governments and civil societies worldwide, who play key roles in their country’s transition from a linear to a circular economy. The event is open to all interested WCEF2019 participants who are part of this sustainable transition.

The Asia-Europe Foundation (ASEF) is launching a review of the implementation experience of Asia-Europe Meeting (ASEM) countries on Sustainable Development Goal 12 (SDG 12): Responsible Consumption and Production (RCP). This publication, entitled “Closing the Loop: ASEM’s transition towards achieving a circular economy, includes research curated for the annual ENVforum Conference 2018, and provides a bird’s-eye view of how ASEM member countries approach the implementation of SDG 12 targets and integrate them into national strategies, target setting and monitoring activities.
