GIZ GmbH

Published

The German Federal Ministry of Environment, Nature Conservation, Building and Nuclear Safety (BMUB), under its International Climate Initiative (IKI), commissioned GIZ (Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit) to implement a project on Resource Efficiency jointly with the Indian Ministry of Environment, Forests and Climate Change (MoEFCC).

At the WCEF2017, the stand will present the key barriers to progress towards resource efficiency transformation pathways at national, regional and sectoral levels and practical suggestions for overcoming them. Since Indian Resource Panel (InRP) is also the first country-owned panel, the experience in setting up the panel provides an innovative mechanism for policy support to the government. The InRP members and GIZ project team will be present to disseminate learning for wider outreach.
