The Netherlands: An entirely circular economy by 2050

As one of the frontrunners in the circular economy, the Netherlands promotes circular solutions for global challenges and has created ambitious transition programmes for five sectors:

  • Biomass and food
  • Plastics
  • Manufacturing
  • Construction
  • Consumer goods.

The Netherlands strives to connect the global circular community by:

  • inspiring cross-sectoral collaborations;
  • boosting circular entrepreneurship;
  • co-creating a worldwide network of circular hotspots.

Let’s take up the challenge, inspire and co-operate towards a fully circular economy by 2050!
