EU: Ecodesign for Sustainable Products Regulation

The Ecodesign for Sustainable Products Regulation (ESPR) aims at making sustainable products the norm in the EU. This cornerstone of the European Commission’s approach to more environmentally sustainable and circular products entered into force on 18 July 2024, replacing the former Ecodesign Directive from 2009.
