European Investment Bank (EIB)

The European Investment Bank (EIB) is the long-term lending institution of the European Union owned by its member states. The EIB supports the transition to a circular economy with three mutually reinforcing activity clusters: finance, financial and technical advisory support and awareness raising. In the last five years, the EIB has provided 2.1 billion euros to co-finance more than 100 circular projects in a variety of sectors and stands ready to do more.
