Plastics are one of the main environmental focus areas of our time. However, plastic is also a very efficient packaging material. New plasticreplacement materials are produced from renewable raw materials and are very often biodegradable. But are the challenges associated with their environmental impacts? What environmental impacts does recycling have? And most importantly, how does recycling plastics or plastic replacement materials affect consumers? How can we encourage consumers to act and what is required from society to create an effective circular economy? These are the questions we will be addressing at our event – come and listen and take part!
