Sitra opens a call for applications for the 2026 Policy Implementation Awards by the EU CERC

At the closing plenary of the World Circular Economy Forum 2025, the EU Circular Economy Resource Centre announced new Circular Awards. The awards recognise and celebrate best practices in the circular economy taken forward by governments and businesses.

At the sesssion, Sitra opened the call for applications for the 2026 Policy Implementation Award by the EU CERC(open in new window). Sitra manages this award and implements the centre together with Enabel, the Belgian agency for international cooperation.

Together with the Federation of Industries of the State of São Paulo (FIESP) and the Brazilian National Industry Confederation (CNI), the EU CERC also awarded Energy Source with a special prize: the Business Award LAC 2025 by the EU CERC, FIESP and CNI in recognition of outstanding leadership and innovation in advancing the circular economy in Latin America.
