TEDA Eco Center

TEDA Eco Center was founded in 2010 to implement the Industrial Symbiosis Project in Tianjin Binhai New Area funded by EU SWITCH-Asia Program. With the initial support from international actors (NISP, SWITCH-Asia Program and UNIDO), TEDA Eco Center plays the coordinating role of Sharing Platform in promoting industrial symbiosis, energy conservation and environmental protection of industrial parks nationwide. In 2016, TEDA Eco Center became the secretariat of the Green Development League of National Economic & Technological Development Zones (hereinafter referred as NETDZs, 219 NETDZs GDP accounts for 14% of GDP whole China), and continually further facilitates the technology innovation, industrial structure optimization, and the green transformation.

At the WCEF2017, the stand will present the mode of the sharing platform, derived from SWITCH-Asia Program, and its important role in augmenting resource efficiency and environmental performance in industrial parks at regional and national level, with typical solutions and successful implemented projects as example. |
