The benefits of wind-generated electricity are not exaggerated! Wind power is one of the cleanest ways to produce electricity. The more wind-generated electricity we buy, the more wind power plants are needed.

Savings: Wind-generated electricity can be slightly more expensive than mixed electricity. However, if it’s been a while since you last signed an electricity agreement, a new agreement may be less costly than the old one.

Remember this: The price of wind-generated electricity may seem higher than mixed electricity, but shopping around for electricity agreements can save you tens or even hundreds of euros each year, depending on your consumption and the way you live. It’s easy to shop around online.

Reducing your carbon footprint: Using wind power reduces your carbon footprint by 5% per year. If a million Finns did this, it would save the equivalent of 53,000 carbon footprints.
