Combine trips and increase efficiency

It’s a good idea to plan trips so that you can take care of many things at the same time. Combining a holiday and business trip can save you lots of money. Combining a daily shopping trip or a visit to the gym with your commute to work, a visit to the grandparents or a tournament trip will make life easier and save time and money. This will also make you feel very efficient.

Savings: Combining daily trips saves petrol and public transport costs. You can even save the price of an air ticket by combining longer trips.

Remember this: Planning schedules and routes takes some time. However, you’ll quickly develop a routine for combining trips.

Reducing your carbon footprint: Combining two 150-kilometre trips once a month reduces your carbon footprint by 0.5% per year. If a million Finns did this, it would save the equivalent of 4,000 carbon footprints per year. The savings come from decreased driving and the resulting lower emissions.
