Data altruism organisation

An organisation that makes data available on a large scale in accordance with the principles data-altruism.

By following the principles of data altruism, an organisation seeks to support goals that are in the public interest, such as scientific research. The organisation can apply to be registered in the national register of recognised data altruism organisations in accordance with the EU Data Governance Act. Such registered organisations are recognised throughout the EU.
