Soft infrastructure

An area of digital infrastructure, including institutions, services, standardised definitions and contracts.

A soft digital infrastructure, such as trust infrastructure and interfaces, is a prerequisite for the use of public-sector and industry data and the progress of digitalisation and automation. Soft infrastructure creates an operating environment where all parties can build their digital operations on the same foundation. Among other things, it enables the sharing and use of data in several organisations and the interoperability of different systems.
