France-Finland Circular Economy Seminar

Circular Economy 2.0: A sustainable development strategy to reduce inequalities in the context of globalisation

How can ”circular thinking” reduce inequality in the context of globalisation? What is the potential of turning the economy circular? How can companies and territories enhance the loop closing? This event brings together the Franco-Finnish forerunners in the circular economy.

The speakers include Permanent Secretary Hannele Pokka from the Ministry of the Environment, Sitra’s Director for the Carbon-neutral circular economy theme Mari Pantsar, Ambassador of France to Finland Serge Tomasi, Director Gaëlle Hourriez-Bolatre of the Institut Français in Finland, Founder Alexandre Lemille at Wizeimpact, Sitra’s Project director in Circular economy Kari HerleviBéatrice Bellini from the Paris Nanterre University Business School and VP Circular economy Kalle Saarimaa from Fortum.

The event is held in English and organised by the French Embassy in Finland, Insitut Français de Finlande and Sitra.
