Ahead of the World Circular Economy Forum (WCEF), Maharashtra is emerging as a key driver of India’s circular economy transition. This official WCEF2026 Side Event brings together policymakers, businesses and innovators to explore how circular solutions can unlock new value, strengthen competitiveness and accelerate sustainable growth.

Hosted in Mumbai, the event offers a unique platform to connect Maharashtra’s dynamic industrial ecosystem with Finnish and European expertise in the circular economy. Together, we aim to identify concrete collaboration opportunities, showcase scalable solutions and build partnerships that contribute to systemic change.

This event creates a space where:

  • Policy meets practice: Gain insights into Maharashtra’s circular economy policies and Finland’s and European Union’s global leadership.
  • Business meets opportunity: Discover investment potential and scalable circular business models.
  • Partnerships take shape: Connect with key stakeholders across industry, government and innovation ecosystems.
  • Global meets local: Prepare for meaningful engagement at WCEF2026 and beyond.

Join us to shape pathways towards a more resource-efficient and resilient future—and to lay the groundwork for impactful collaboration leading up to WCEF2026.

This event brings together key stakeholders from government, industry, startups and SMEs, as well as research, finance, innovation and non-profit organisations across Maharashtra’s circular economy ecosystem.
