How can citizens and businesses create shared value from an energy revolution, promote co-creativity and responsible lifestyles? The first Neo-Carbon Futures Clinique is seeking for an answer to these questions. The workshop will be arranged in cooperation with Sitra, as part of the Neo-Carbon Energy project by VTT, Lappeenranta Technical University and the University of Turku’s Finland Futures Research Center.
In order to turn Finland into a carbon-neutral, resource-wise society, companies, cities and citizens need to change their actions. Companies and cities are paving the way towards carbon neutrality. We invite companies, decision-makers, media, non-governmental organisations, researchers and artists to envision possible futures of the new industrial phase, and its lifestyles and services through four transformative scenarios, stretching to the year 2050. The ideas produced at the clinique will be used to target the project’s work towards solutions needed for Finland.
