Personal covid-19 status information distribution solutions workshop

Personal covid-19 status information distribution solutions workshop

Sitra has outlined a corona-status information distribution solution and invites everyone who is willing to do so to join in the co-operative effort.

  • April 13, 2021 at 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm
  • Online event

When battling against the corona crisis, all measures need to be taken into account. Recently EU countries agreed on a need for a cross-border vaccination certificate. One solution is to use our current, well-tested and security-proof infrastructure of card payment terminals for the benefit of this joint mission.

Sitra’s project explores the idea to chart the technical, juridical, ethical & data security constraints to build a basis for moving forward to real-life cases. In our scenario, a contact-less payment card inspection could be carried out, not only in airports & harbours, but also in business settings, such as organizing safe events or securing safe working conditions at offices.

Together with our partner Deloitte we arranged an open 3-hour workshop webinar on this matter on Tuesday 13rd of April.
