Published

A seminar series titled “The Essence of India” during the spring of 2008 aims to deepen the existing relations and find new cooperation models between Finland and India. The kick-off seminar “Values of India” will take place on Jan. 21st.

The kick-off seminar “The Essence of India – Values of India” is an essential part of the five-event series, all of which will be organised during spring 2008. The seminar is open to general public, but pre-registration is required.

The kick-off seminar presents a broad framework to Indian society and economy within which each forthcoming event will focus on a specific topic concerning Finland-India cooperation in cleantech and health care.

The key objective of the seminars is to deepen the existing relations between Finland and India. The aim is also to explore future opportunities for economic cooperation and core competence areas in Finland and India, and to promote globalisation that is based on best practises and reciprocity. The final and concluding seminar on Finland-India partnerships will be held in April 2008.
