Anna Grant

Specialist, Nature and daily life

Who?

Anna works on how we can best promote positive social change on the ground, and nimbly change direction when needed. In the Nature and Daily Life project, Anna is involved in working towards a vision of a good sustainable life and supporting a variety of actors who want to inspire people to take action for the climate and biodiversity.

What?

Anna has many years of experience in strategy work, impact and development evaluation. She has worked as a development partner for a number of change agent teams and organisations in the UK and Finland. A natural strategic thinker, Anna easily grasps the big picture and the relationships between phenomena. She asks a lot of questions designed to help change makers clarify their own thinking about change.

Anna is an experienced project manager and facilitator who enjoys developing her facilitation and leadership skills. She has a broad understanding of different aspects of society. She holds a PhD on the role of ethics in international politics from the University of Kent.

What else?

In her spare time you can find Anna in yoga class, swimming or hiking in outdoors – skiing in the winter and walking or cycling in the summer. She also enjoys reading world literature and relaxing with her family.

Developing the best qualities of humanity, especially listening skills and compassion, is what inspires Anna. Anna believes that the more deeply we learn to care for ourselves, the more we will learn to care for others.
