Benoit Blarel

Benoit Blarel is a Practice Manager in the Global Practice Environment Unit of the World Bank. He joined the Bank in 1988 through the Young Professionals Programme. He has since held various positions including Practice Manager for Middle East and North Africa and the Global Practice Environment Unit; Country Manager for Romania in the Europe and Central Asia Vice Presidency; Operations Manager in the Sustainable Development Department, Europe and Central Asia Vice Presidency; and Sector Leader in the Latin America and Caribbean Region’s Environmentally and Socially Sustainable Development Sector Unit.
