Funto Boroffice wants to empower women to work and do it sustainably.
She is a serial entrepreneur who is the founder and CEO of Chanja Datti Ltd, a waste collection and recycling social enterprise dedicated to transforming the waste in her environment to value while also empowering unemployed women and youth by creating jobs for them. Under her leadership, Chanja Datti was recently awarded the 2016 Energy Globe Award for Nigeria. She has been a Senior Aide to Nigeria’s Honorable Minister of Power, and before that, spent years gaining global financial, strategy and project improvement experience – most of which were as a Vice President in the largest GE Capital Americas business. Among others, she is a certified member of WEConnect International, a corporate led non-profit that helps to empower women business owners to succeed in global markets.
