Henna Kurki

Who?

Henna works as a trainee for the Sustainable Everyday Life team. Her work involves planning and conducting local development workshops for the PSLifestyle project in collaboration with the team. When the team needs support with brainstorming, background research or communications, Henna is always on hand.

What?

Henna holds a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Government from the University of Turku. In the autumn, she returned to Helsinki to study environmental change and global sustainability.

Henna came to Sitra from the NGO sector, where she worked as a Project Coordinator for the Finnish Nature League. She has also worked on sustainability issues on the board of 350 Finland.

What else?

Henna gets energy in her daily life from spontaneous bicycle rides, book clubs and mushroom hunting. She spends her free time volunteering and enjoying local nature.

Henna is a card-carrying tree hugger who believes that “time spent among trees is never time wasted”.
