Ilkka Räsänen is an all-rounder in the healthcare sector. In the IHAN project, he works as a Senior Lead for healthcare and pharmaceutical industry experiments. His tasks include investigating the impact of IHAN pilot projects on individuals and society, as well as considering opportunities for the further development of fair data exchange together with industry parties.
Ilkka has solid experience in ICT, and he has implemented extensive projects in various industries. He has diverse experience in the business models and mindsets of both global IT giants and small start-ups. Ilkka has been involved in the digital innovation in hospitals and been a Board member of Serious Gaming Cluster Finland. In particular, he has gained expertise in product development and IPR with his own start-up.
In his free time, Ilkka unwinds with music by playing the guitar for several bands. The development of the MUBIK music game that develops cognitive skills is as much part of his hobbies as roaming in nature and board games. When diving into the Middle Ages or the world of 19th century steam engines in games, one can see how the challenges people are facing are the same when they are seeking their place in an increasingly fair world, even though the tools have changed several times.
