Johannes Ahlqvist is in charge of the Competitiveness from health data project. The goal of the project is to improve Finland’s competitiveness by furthering the extensive use of health and well-being data.
Johannes has a master’s degree in technology from Aalto University’s cross-disciplinary Master’s Programme in Information Networks. In recent years, he has worked as a consultant, focusing especially on digitalisation and ICT-related operating models. He became acquainted with health data at the academic level while writing his master’s thesis and in practice when working for Nordic Healthcare Group.
Johannes tries to spend much of his free time outdoors: in the forest, by the sea or on a lake. He grew up on a farm and still does farm work whenever his schedule allows. When jogging, he often heads for the forest and nature in general.
