Katri Korhonen is the project coordinator for the IHAN® – Human-driven data economy focus area. Katri ensures the smooth running of the project, she organises events and communicates with all the stakeholders.
Katri has ten years of experience as an assistant and project coordinator in the ICT sector and consumer products. She has also done research into the culture of experimentation and has nuanced understanding of crowdsourcing and user participation. Katri holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration and master’s degree in social sciences.

In her free time, you can find Katri browsing through vintage boutiques and enjoying the urban cultural vibes. Katri also loves gardening at her new allotment not far from Helsinki city centre.
Katri believes that data citizenship is only beginning to take shape alongside the more traditional forms of societal influencing, but it will eventually become a force to be reckoned with.
