Minister of Agriculture and the Environment,
Kimmo Tiilikainen has first-hand experience with policy and practice in agriculture and the environment.
A Member of Parliament for 13 years, Tiilikainen has twice been Minister with the environment and agriculture portfolios. Additionally, he has served on the Council for Natural Resources as well as on the stakeholder advisory board of the energy company Neste Oil, and he has been a member of the supervisory board of the powerhouse conservation group WWF. Yet Tiilikainen also has practical experience farther away from the boardroom and closer to the earth: he is a forester and an organic farmer.
Kimmo Tiilikainen is speaking at the following WCEF2017 sessions:
Mon 5 June at 14.15 : Blueprints for a Circular Bio-Based Economy
Tue 6 June at 11.00 : Forest-Based Bioeconomy and Climate Change Mitigation
