Lorraine Francourt

Director of Chemicals Management Policy and Circular Economy, Dow

Lorraine Francourt, Director of Chemicals Management Policy and Circular Economy, is a member of Dows global Corporate Sustainability Leadership team, leading its corporate 2025 sustainability goal “Advancing a Circular Economy.  

Taking a global strategic view of chemicals management policy and the circular economy, Lorraine facilitates Dow’s business collaborations and partnerships that seek to optimisthe use of resources, reduce waste and advance circular solutions. 

With extensive international experience in sustainabilitysupply chainscustomer service and technical service, Lorraine has held assignments in Germany, the USA and Saudi Arabia. She is currently based in Dow Europe’s Headquarters in Switzerland. 

Lorraine is a member of the European Chemical Industry Council (CEFIC). She is on the board of the European Centre for Ecotoxicology and Toxicology of Chemicals (ECETOC), the European Supervisory Board of the World Environment Center (WEC) and is Dow’s corporate liaison with the Ellen MacArthur Foundation for the circular economy. 

Lorraine has a BSc in Polymer Engineering and a masterin Environmental Management, and certification in Business Sustainability Management from the Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership.
