I work as a Senior Lead in Sitra’s International Programmes. I support the identification of EU funding opportunities, the building of consortia, and the development of competitive funding proposals.

I have a background in academia, followed by seven years’ experience as a grant writer at the Natural Resources Institute. I am an expert in Horizon Europe in particular.
I’m motivated to contribute to addressing some of the world’s greatest challenges, such as climate change, democracy, and a just society, in Finland, the EU, and beyond!
Outside of work, I am very active in civil society, serving as a Member of the City of Helsinki’s Education Finnish Sub-Committee, a Deputy Member of the trade union Loimu (Union of Professionals in Natural, Environmental, Food & Forestry Sciences), and a Co-Founder, Former Chair, and Board Member of HELSINKI LEFT, which works to represent and integrate immigrants in Finnish politics.
