Pipsa Havula

I work part-time at Sitra as a communications specialist (consultant) for international programmes. I coordinate communications on data, artificial intelligence and democracy for both domestic and international audiences.

I have worked in the media industry for a long time in various roles: as a news reporter, freelance journalist, editor-in-chief at a Finnish fact-checking organisation, where I also handled communications alongside my other responsibilities, as well as a speaker and trainer. I’m particularly familiar with topics related to information influence, artificial intelligence and digital power. Communicating about these themes as part of Sitra’s team is therefore a natural continuation of my work.
