Rachel Major

Rachel Major anchors her work in bioinspired design. As a creative scientist, engineer, and entrepreneur she helps to accelerate the creation of a circular bioeconomy with technology inspired by nature’s genius. She’s worked in engineering and geochemical labs as well as at the world’s leading biomimetic consultancy and NASA Ames. She has degrees in biochemistry, ecology, and management. As CEO and co-founder of NuLeaf Tech, she focuses on resource independence by building technology that recycles wastewater to generate clean water, energy, and crops.
