Reimagining the Good Life with Phoebe Tickell: How can we find joy within planetary boundaries?

What if we could live in a way that served not only us but also future generations and the more-than-human world?

What if our joy is actually entangled with the joy of others, past, present and future?

By April, us Finns have already consumed our fair share of renewable natural resources for 2024. It is clear that our lifestyles require some bold changes. But why does it seem so hard? In the words of systems thinker and imagination activist Phoebe Tickell, maybe what we lack is not information – but imagination.

Phoebe Tickell is the founder of the organisation Moral Imaginations. She believes that the vast majority of our challenges are not resource problems, but imagination problems, and that imagination is a muscle that can be flexed to change the way we see – and act. Moral imagination is the capacity to believe that things can, and must, be different.

Join us to learn, imagine and connect with others in this online workshop facilitated by Tickell. A short presentation and a guided imagination exercise will help us shift our perceptions and move from dreams to action.

See you there!
