The Founders House Helsinki project aims to establish a dedicated, curated community space in Helsinki to convene Finland’s most ambitious artificial intelligence and growth-focused entrepreneurs. The initiative will facilitate business creation and international expansion by providing workspace for 5–15 founding teams, hosting a minimum of two high-quality events per month, and supporting teams in securing funding and preparing for Y Combinator applications. The project will also develop a robust network of 300–500 students, founders, and investors. Key objectives include the creation of approximately 40 new growth companies annually, enabling several teams to access international funding, and supporting at least two Finnish teams to join Y Combinator each year. In the long term, the project seeks to reinforce Helsinki’s status as a leading European hub for start-ups and artificial intelligence, generate employment and tax revenue, and enhance the international presence of Finnish technology enterprises.
